Welcome to Kingfisher Lodge situated at Waiau Pa, overlooking the Manukau Harbour in the Franklin District of Auckland, New Zealand.

Waiau Pa is ideally located as a starting point to explore the local and Awhitu Peninsula beaches as well as being within 20 minutes of four excellent golf courses and the Karaka Bloodstock Centre. The area is well known for its thoroughbred stud farms that include Westbury, Chesterfield and Havenfield.

The Lodge is a 40 minute drive from Auckland International Airport and the same distance from the Auckland CBD. There are two excellent restaurants close by with other nearby attractions including:

The view from the west deck is across the water to the Awhitu Peninsula with the Waitakere Ranges beyond. There is access to the harbour beach which is an easy (300 metre) stroll away. The Lodge is situated on 10 acres of farmland currently co-occupied with horses, cattle and chickens.

The accommodation is a private room, with en-suite and a separate entrance. We are at the end of a long right of way so peace and quiet is assured. The tariff is $125 plus G.S.T per night including a lite breakfast.
